We are looking for an experienced and highly-skilled Strategy and Intelligence Manager to provide much needed capacity in the team in this important year ahead, as SELEP positions itself as a key player in regional economic growth.
The role will lead on the production and implementation of SELEP strategies and evidence, the execution of its responsibility to deliver a Local Industrial Strategy (LIS). Working widely, the post holder will ensure that the LIS is informed by and aligns with plans which are developed across the federated areas of the LEP and by neighbouring LEPs.
The post holder will also oversee the roll-out of the new economic strategy, which articulates pan-LEP economic themes.
The role requires experience of working in a delivery team with the ability to ensure SELEP’s strategy is fit for purpose and its constituent parts are aligned, to both support Growth Deal delivery (£580m portfolio) and position us strongly as we assume responsibilities pursuant to the forthcoming UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
