There is now more time available for rural businesses to prepare their applications for funding.
The Rural Payments Agency has just confirmed that the closing date for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) has been extended to 31 May 2018 and the new completion date for projects is now 31 December 2020.
This gives rural businesses in the SELEP area longer to work on their applications for funding, creating new business growth and jobs in rural areas.
We are actively seeking projects for the SELEP rural pipeline. The three areas of funding are:
- Business development
- Food processing
- Tourism infrastructure
Funding available
There is still some funding left of the £14.5 million allocation of European Agricultural Fund for Rural Development earmarked for the SELEP area so if you have a project in mind for next year why not start working on your application now?
