Coronavirus (COVID-19): Business briefing – 23 April 2020

Resources to support your business during COVID-19 disruption
On a day when the government re-emphasised there would be no ‘quick exit’ from the current COVID-19 lockdown, we’ve put together a comprehensive list of additional resources available from the government and its partners to help businesses affected by coronavirus (COVID-19).

Health Secretary Matt Hancock again led the Downing Street Press Conference today, when he urged everyone to “retain their resolve and follow social distancing rules”.

“To lift the measures too soon and to risk a second peak will be a mistake and undo all the hard work that has been done,” he said, adding it would be bad “for nation’s health and economy”.
