Over the next thirty years, our energy systems will need to rapidly evolve to enable us to decarbonise and take advantage of new technologies such as electric vehicles.
Three LEPs (Local Enterprise partnerships); Coast to Capital, Enterprise M3 and the South East LEP, are working together to create an Energy Strategy for the South East, an area spanning all the way from Harwich to Winchester, that will set down a clear vision for the area, alongside a detailed action plan of priority projects to be taken forward to Government and other sources of funding.
The South2East Energy will recognise the fundamental importance of the UK’s energy ‘trilemma’ finding clean, affordable, sustainable energy provision for economic growth.

The resultant strategy will recognise the aspirations of BEIS (Department for Business, Energy, Energy & Industrial Strategy) delivering solutions that will take UK on a journey to providing local energy provision shifting the country to a low carbon economy.
We would like to invite you to attend a stakeholder engagement workshop to understand what energy projects you want delivered in the South East of England.
